While this is Camille's first year as principal at St. Mary's Visitation, she has partnered with staff and students on a few adventures while a teacher at St. Stanislaus School a few miles south. Camille has deep roots in the community. She grew up in the Dorr/Hopkins area, graduated from St. Stanislaus School and Hopkins High School, and taught 7th & 8th grade at St. Stanislaus for over 16 years. Her daughter Casey is the 4th generation to graduate from both St. Stanislaus and Hopkins High. After high school, Camille received her BA in Education from Michigan State University, and later graduated from the University of Georgia in 1999 with a BFA degree. She earned her MA in Ed. Leadership from Western Michigan University in 2020. Camille lives in Dorr with her husband, Brett, and their two Golden Retrievers. When not working on her house or yard, she likes to read, do puzzles, dabble in genealogy, paint, and work on her stamp collection.
