Being an SMV Saint is something that lasts a lifetime for our students and our families.
SMV is accredited through MNSAA (Michigan Non-public School Accrediting Association). At SMV we strive to consistently work on our strategic plan in order to provide the best faith filled, academically strong, and caring environment possible. Our staff and students celebrate the Mass each week. It is a day we all look forward to each week. Our staff is dedicated to continue our STREAM initiative (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Math). We also offer a music program. Our 5th through 7th grade students participate in our choir. We have an optional strings program available to students in 1st through 6th grade. We provide weekly enrichment through our art class as well as physical education.

We are thankful for our partnership with Hopkins Public School, our Local Educational Agency
(LEA). Hopkins helps us provide a hot lunch program and buses for our students.  Our partnership with our families, Parish, and community is an integral part of the success of SMV School. We encourage you to become involved. Our LCAB (Local Consultative Advisory Body) is the advisory group to our Pastor and myself. We have an involved and dedicated home and school group.   We love our many parents and community volunteers! Your feedback and support are essential to our continued improvement.
